3 Hours CPD |
Elmhurst’s Ventilation Awareness CPD course will help you to build your understanding of ventilation from the ground up and will give retrofit professionals the knowledge to assess the adequacy of ventilation systems for Pathway B projects as defined in PAS 2035.
Course Overview
Good ventilation is essential to a healthy, comfortable home to not only maintain the health of occupants but also deal with excessive humidity, which, if not controlled, can lead to condensation, damp, and mould.
As we insulate walls, roofs and floors to a much higher standard, and improve airtightness, the need for adequate ventilation only increases.
PAS 2035 and Ventilation
PAS 2035, highlights the critical role of ventilation in domestic retrofit. Should retrofit professionals undertake a project which proposes the installation of any insulation or air tightness measure, then an assessment of existing ventilation would be required.
