Elmhurst’s APEL Non-Domestic Energy Assessor (NDEA) course offers a fast track training route for those with experience of working in the non-domestic, who want to gain expert knowledge in the production of SBEM Calculations and EPCs for new and existing (Level 3 and 4) commercial buildings.
If professionals meet the APEL requirements, the two day NDEA APEL course provides individuals with all the information needed to meet the Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) standards for a NDEA Assessor. The training is accompanied by distance learning materials and is followed by an assessment of five SBEM calculations.

Upon successful completion of the NDEA APEL training and your portfolio, individuals are classed as qualified. Once qualified you will be eligible to join Elmhurst’s government approved accreditation scheme free of charge.
